I am a board-level strategy advisor with 30 years’ experience supporting boards, CEOs and owners through moments of strategic inflection, transformation and long-term value creation.
I have served on boards and executive committees and bring first-hand experience of governance, collective decision-making and organisational stewardship.
My Perspective
I have never followed a standard or linear life path. Alongside my professional career, I have lived and worked in very different cultural and social contexts, travelled extensively on my own, and combined analytical and commercial roles with creative work. I am currently based in Svalbard, in the high Arctic, and work internationally.
Over time, this has given me perspective — and a deep appreciation for what it means to operate outside the mainstream. It has also shaped my understanding of belonging: what it feels like to move between worlds, to be both inside and outside dominant systems, and to navigate responsibility without always fitting a standard template.
That perspective informs how I work. It allows me to pay attention to context, to what sits beneath formal structures, and to the lived reality of power, responsibility and difference. It also enables me to recognise and respect what is unique in others — particularly those who are successful yet experience tension around belonging, identity or expectation.
I bring this perspective into my work with boards, leaders and individuals: helping them look beyond surface narratives, make sense of complexity, and take decisions that are both grounded and true to who they are.
My Background
I am a former Partner at OC&C Strategy Consultants (2017–2026) and now act as a Senior Advisor as part of my transition to a portfolio career. My work there focused on corporate strategy, organisational effectiveness and governance, often in the context of M&A or ownership change. I also led OC&C’s global ESG agenda and sat on the firm’s Executive Committee.
Earlier in my career, I held senior roles at Bain & Company, Boston Consulting Group, PepsiCo, and the UK Department of Health, and worked in Asia with publicly listed consumer healthcare businesses.
